Black Hawk casting rods are constructed using carbon material to allow for a light, thin-wall finished rod. Withstanding tension tests at various degree settings, all we can say is that the power of this rod under the heaviest loads will not be an issue. These rods are designed to be multi-functional where an angler can use it for trolling, jigging, live lining, and bottom fishing. A few of the highlighted features are SIC K-Frame guides, thicker and larger shrink-wrapped grips, and a Fuji gimbal with a butt cap.
